UNITED VAN DER HORSTS plant in India located on 145000 m2 piece of land at Taloja,Navi Mumbai ,is one of the best equipped workshops with all modern machinery .Our workshop capacities are:
1 · Material Handling :
There are total 7 Overhead Cranes in the three bays
consisting of 5MT to 20 MT capacity.
2 · Machining :
5 Lathes with maximum length between center of 10
metres with maximum turning diameter of 1 meter.
3 · Vertical Turning :
3 vertical Turret Lathes with maximum turning diameter
of 1.2 meters with arrangement for piston groove grinding.
4 · Horizontal Boring :
Germanmachine with table size of 1.5 metres x1.5 metres
horizontal travel upto 3 metres ,vertical travel of 1.5 metres.
5 · Chrome Plating:
UVDHLs Plating facility is the best in the country . The
l largest tank can take upto 10 metres in length .
Maximum plating diameter is 1 meter external and 800
mm internal and plate chrome upto 2 mm on diameter
(1 mm on radius).
6· Honing
Internal bores from 50 mm to 800 mm can be honed to
maximum length of 4 metres.
7· Grinding :
3 Nos. crankshaft/cylindrical grinders take a maximum
length of 10 metres with a swing over diameter of 1.2
metres.
8· Polishing :
Belt Grinders with polishing attachments to get surface
finish upto 0.04 micron Ra.
9·Welding:
Our Welding capabilities cover the entire spectrum
of welding- SMAW,SAW, GTAW,MMAW etc.
for pressure containing parts as well as overlay.
10·Stress Relieving:
The stress relieving furnace is computer controlled
and is equipped with mechanized door and trolley
operation. This can take jobs of size 2meter x 2meter
x 2meter and the maximum temperature is 900 degC.
11· Pressure testing :
UVDHL can pressure test equipment upto 20,000 psi.
12· In-Situ Machining :
UVDHL can dispatch trained team with specially
designed tools of unique characteristics to carry out on-
site machining jobs on flanges and the mating surfaces.
13· Inspection services :
Our inspection department is fully trained in all kinds
of inspection activities including DP,MPI,UT,X-ray etc. In
house cleaning facilities ensure minimum time loss before
inspection.
