                    OUR STRENGTH ...

POROUS KROME PLATING :-

In 1938, Dr. Hendrik Van Der Horst
developed the  first
Effective  method  of  inducing

porosity into  chrome Surface

finish , thus  pioneering  the

words  Porous Chroming

Industry.Today,this process

is  not  just  our

Basic activity - it  is

our strength .

Electrodeposited  chromium

is extremely hard  and

has non-stick and very

low wetability properties.

Whilst these enable  chromium

to remain  free of contaminent ,

they also render it almost

impossible to lubricate.

The bonding between the

parent  metal and chrome

in word   is   perfect  .

Two  factors  affect   the

bonding ,mechanical

pre-treatment  of  the

parent  metal and its electro

chemical preparation .

By  creating  porosity  on  this

 surface  by   our  patented

Porous  Krome  Plating,  we

have  gone   further   and

ensured   sufficient    oil

retention   by    inducing

minute surface  reservoirs.

These Porous Krome plating

techniques are widely used

by   us   to   recondition   a

variety    of    components

such  as Diesel    Engine

Liners ,Crankshafts,Piston

Rods ,Hydaulic Cylinders

etc. list

is  increasing  rapidly.

UVDHL  has  developed

highly specialized  techniques

by which  these factors are

controlled and all  possibilities

of chipping or flaking are

obviated.
